You should list the home just like any other listing. In additional terms of the listing contract, make sure you add &quot;sale is subject to bank approval&quot;. You will also want to add that term to the remarks in the MLS. 

In order to obtain a short sale package, call the seller&#039;s lender and speak with the loss mitigation department. Ask them to send you a short sale package. They may require you to have a 3rd party authorization on file before they send you this.
